Brief & solution

Prior to the event, Benchmark Collective were asked to expand the reach of the existing Deliver sales team as well as provide account management support for the Deliver vendors and buyers.

With Deliver 2022 planned to take place in June 2022, the sales cycle was significantly shortened, so whilst rebook was a new concept for the Deliver audience and internal teams, Adam Gough, Commercial Director was keen to implement it to secure the event growth as quickly as possible from retention business. Benchmark were asked to support Adam to devise the rebook strategy through a consultancy session, build a team capable of delivering and managing the entire rebook project.

Result

80%

The first Deliver rebook project saw exceptional results, with more than 80% of revenue rebooked over the 2 days. Vendors were delighted to have first option on their preferred location at the event and to secure sponsorship opportunities early in the campaign. A great launch back to in-person events for the Deliver community and a fantastic platform for the team to secure the growth they hope for in 2022.

I was really pleased to be able to involve the Benchmark Collective team in my new role as Commercial Director at Deliver. Having worked with the team in a previous business, I knew I could rely on them to deliver the best rebook service to our Deliver vendors and achieve the exceptional results I hoped for. Evolving Deliver and realising my commercial plan needed the experts and so Benchmark Collective were the obvious choice.
